Free Daily Tips: 11th February

We enjoyed a good Monday with winners including San Pedro (4/1), Tigerbythetail (7/2), Walks Like The Man (5/2), Alto Alto (15/8), Paradoxical (10/3), and Council (15/8).

Tuesday looks like being another good day with afternoon jumps racing from Lingfield and Ayr, with an informative evening at Wolverhampton on show.

Lingfield

1:55 Wednesday Addams. Needs to show the form of her bumper runs and her second place on hurdles debut instead of what she displayed last time out so is risky, but there is a fair horse here when it clicks. That will probably be in handicaps but she is a nice price if the odds on favourite Presenting Doy doesn’t live up to its reputation.

2:25 Pleasington. The performance when winning at Leicester a few weeks ago is better than what Peacenik has shown.

2:55 Madaket. Has looked like a handicap chaser and gets his chance in this sphere today. Will be a big price with a few other nice types in the race.

3:27 Icaque De L’Isle. One of the worst races of the week quality wise but Icaque De L’Isle looks by far the most likely to win it.

4:02 Clonakilty. Won this race last year and sports first time blinkers. Poor recent form but has a strong chance against dodgy opponents.

4:37 Roi De Baviere. Has had the three required runs to get a handicap mark and goes straight in here. The tongue strap comes straight out for handicap debut and the yard are in reasonable form.

Ayr

1:10 Ballyfort. Looks much the best in this race. Good run last time out when second at this course and steps up in trip to a distance that will suit better. Fantastic chance.

1:40 Powers Dilemma. Another poor quality race. Powers Dilemma can go well on handicap debut after an absence against a poor field.

2:10 Grand Voyage. Plenty of runs without winning but this nine year old ran a good race to be second in December and his turn could be near. Very well weighted here.

2:40 Jony R. Finished third in a two mile maiden at this track and steps up in trip today for Stuart Crawford. The excellent Irish based jockey JJ Slevin takes the ride.

3:10 Lively Citizen. Returned to form with a bang three weeks ago in taking a course and distance race. That was his first time back over fences after a spell hurdling and he only gets a 3lb penalty. I’m not sure that’s enough to stop the horse from doubling up.

3:45 Topkapi Star. Won in first time cheekpieces last time out. Will go in again and defy a 7lb penalty if they have the same effect.

4:20 Hold The Note. Capable of winning this on the bridle if he gets out of bed in the right mood. Hasn’t performed well for a while now but has always had a hit and miss profile. A massive price today.

4:55 Oh Janey. Trainer has a 20% strike rate here in bumpers and has found a winnable race for Oh Janey. It should be a nice price as well for us based on the overnight odds.

Wolverhampton

4:30 Nahy. Probably being qualified for handicaps but received very gentle handling in its last run which made me think were a holding it back for another day. More than capable of winning here if the jockey puts it in the race before it’s too late.

5:00 Rivas Rob Roy. 4th in a C&D handicap last time and is slowly starting to run back into form.

5:30 Brinton. Connections have been trying to get his head in front at this course and today is an excellent chance to do just that.

6:00 Granary Queen. Fairly handicapped. Has a good chance of hitting the ground running after a break.

6:30 Kolisi. Tapers debut and first time cheekpieces. There is a chance that this environment will perk the horse up. The 1m5f trip will be fine. I can see 80/1 overnight which is mental in a six horse race.

7:00 Hi Hoh Tonto. A 16 race maiden, but the step back up in trip will suit.

7:30 Bossy Parker. Ran a shocker when down the field as an even money favourite last time out. Is better than that.

8:00 Second Collection. Could this four time course winner be Luke Morris’s 500th winner at Wolverhampton?

8:30 Sax Appeal. Was an 11/1 winner over C&D last week and Charlie Johnston’s horse can double up over the same track and trip.

Happy punting
