3rd Jan: The Daily Trio
We stick to Lingfield for today’s three selections. It has been a fantastic Christmas period but we are back to earth with a bump, unless you are a low grade handicap enthusiast of course! I’m feeling a bit fat after ignoring the diet recently, and hopefully the three below can make the wallet a bit fatter too.
Etretat isn’t a good horse, but he is good in this grade. Charlie Johnson doesn’t have too many running at the minute and will be hoping the horse can go close with the usual claimer on board. The opposition looks thin, you couldn’t back any of them with confidence such is their inconsistency, and our lad looks solid. Selection: Etretat, 2:45 Lingfield, 1 point win. Won at 9/4
Charlie Mason was third in a reasonable race at Kempton when we last saw him, going off 3/1 favourite. He got away slowly under Rossa Ryan and was doing his best work at the finish. With a fair run this looks a very winnable race. Selection: Charlie Mason, 1:45 Lingfield, 1 point win.
Gold Aura won a weak race a few days ago and goes again under a penalty. Doing all the best work at the finish, a slight step up in trip today won’t harm his chances. The horse is a bigger price than I expected, so it’s an easy selection. Selection: Gold Aura, 3:45 Lingfield, 1 point win.
Also have a 1 point treble.
Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and an £10 treble.
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!
Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?
Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles
