Daily Trio: 8th April

It’s a poor Tuesday but there is a winner in every race. We concentrate on the evening meeting at Southwell in our quest to find winners.

My Boy Harry is a lightly raced maiden who steps up in trip significantly tonight. He made a reasonable stable debut for Jim & Suzi Best last time out and it’s possible we can see a much improved horse over the extra distance. The price is good at around 10/1 early doors. Selection: My Boy Harry, 6:00 Southwell, 1 point win.

Radio Star is a lightly raced filly who has been knocking on the door – beaten into second at 6/5 favourite last time out. She was given too much ground to make up last time and an earlier timed run could see this horse home in front today. She also wears a first time hood. Selection: Radio Star, 6:30 Southwell, 1 point win.

Captain Harry is another light raced sort (do you see the theme here) who has had three runs in maiden company. It’s likely we will see a different horse now handicapping for Andrew Balding. He is around 7/1 at the early prices. Selection: Captain Harry, 8:30 Southwell, 1 point win.

Also have a 1 point treble.

Happy punting.
