Daily Trio: Saturday 12th April

It’s a fantastic Saturday of racing with plenty of quality action to get stuck into for both jump racing and flat racing fans.

Western Diego can kick us off with a winner in the opener at Ayr on Scottish Grand National Day, and also kick starting the Willie Mullins bid to overhaul Dan Skelton in the trainers title race. Western Diego makes his handicap debut here of what looks a fair mark based on his second place at Punchestown last time out. Opposition looks thin, with the main danger probably being Gavin Cromwells The Other Mozzie. Selection: Western Diego, 1:10 Ayr, 1 point win.

Loughglynn looks to have a similar chance in the 1:43 at Ayr. Another lightly raced chaser with a few races over fences without winning and making it’s handicap debut off what looks a fair mark for Willie Mullins. I’ll be backing this horse with a decent bet. Selection: Loughglynn, 1:43 Ayr, 1 point win.

Jump Allen is today’s third selection to make it a Willie Mullins clean sweep. He easily won a big field race at Naas last time and could even improve more stepped up in trip. Opposition looks thin here. Quebecois looks to be regressing, Baratablet doesn’t appear to have much scope for progression to my eyes anyway, Calimystic looks like a lower grade handicapper, and C’est Ta Chance will probably prove the main danger but hasn’t looked to see its races out convincingly so is vulnerable to a horse in a fight up the home straight. Selection: Jump Allen, 4:10 Ayr, 1 point win.

Also have a 1 point treble.

Happy punting

2025 profit: +154.19 points.

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and a £10 treble.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.

This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
