Our Daily Trio selections for Friday 31st January
Our selections were a tad unlucky yesterday as all ran well, they just didn’t win. It’s been a very good January and we are guaranteed to finish the month in profit. Let’s hope we can finish with a bang.
Crossing The Bar is an Irish raider that runs here off a higher British mark than he would over in Ireland. His trainer Cian Collins must think he has room to improve from his current mark. A good second last time out and the opponents here aren’t reliable either. Selection: Crossing The Bar, 3:35 Catterick, 1 point win.
In the words of Micky Flanagan we aren’t going out, we are going out out. Dan Skelton must have done a happy dance when seeing the mark the handicapper gave this horse after three poor runs in unsuitable races. There is upside in this horse and handicap debut may be the best time to strike. Market confidence would be very significant. Selection: Out Out, 3:15 Lingfield, 1 point win.
Here Comes McCoy goes in the Surrey National, which will be a marathon in bad ground. Our selection has finished in the first three on his last seven starts and looked to be improving still when only a mistake at the last cost him victory at Uttoxeter. A step up in trip looks sure to suit. Most of the field have question marks over form and consistency. Selection: Here Comes McCoy, 2:45 Lingfield, 1 point win.
Also have a 1 point treble.
Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and an £10 treble.
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!
Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?
Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.
This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
