Our Daily Trio selections for Thursday 20th February
It’s a good days racing with some quality action.
Cleatus Poolaw is significantly up in trip and is a strong fancy at a nice price. Looks very favourably treated at the weights and I see no reason why he won’t stay the distance. He is a big price here at around 11/1 overnight. Selection: Cleatus Poolaw, 2:55 Punchestown, 1 point win.
It’s unbelievable that Dr Eggman is still a maiden over hurdles. Hopefully he won’t be after today. He sets a very high standard and should still have plenty of room for improvement himself. Selection: Dr Eggman, 3:55 Punchestown, 1 point win.
Diamonds Galore disappointed in bumpers but may be a different proposition over hurdles and up in distance. Very unexposed. Selection: Diamonds Galore, 3:15 Huntingdon.
Also have a 1 point treble.
Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and a £10 treble.
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!
Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?
Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.
This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
