Our Daily Trio selections for Tuesday 18th February

Bread And Butter’s record reads 0 from 8 over fences but he couldn’t have been found a worse race than this one. The horse has won three times over hurdles this season and is 5lb lower over fences. Selection: Bread and Butter, 4:27 Market Rasen, 1 point win.

The Final Word’s third place six weeks ago under kid gloves reads very well in the context of this race and the Irish point winner can shed his maiden tag in a first time tongue tie. Selection: The Final Word, 3:05 Taunton, 1 point win.

I loved The Widdow Maker’s comeback from a long absence over course & distance last time. He was out the back but stayed on nicely considering he needed the run desperately after two years away from the racecourse. That will have blown away the cobwebs and I see he is the rank outsider in this race overnight which is surprising. Selection: The Widdow Maker, 4:10 Taunton, 1 point win.

Also have a 1 point treble on the above three selections.

Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and a £10 treble.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.

This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
