Our Daily Trio selections for Wednesday 12th February

The racing today isn’t the best quality you will see, but I do have a few fancies across the cards. It was difficult to narrow down five strong selections into three for this Daily Trio but I’m happy with the result.

Prince Nino goes in a hands and heels race where getting a good jockey is half of the battle. Prince Nino has the capable Freddie Keighley on board and the horse is running into form based on his strong finishing second place last time out. Selection: Prince Nino, 4:48 Wetherby, 1 point win.

Klic Boum is one of two in the 4:03 race for Evan Williams. The horse ran okay in bumpers / maiden hurdles and made a satisfactory start to life in handicaps last time when to be honest it looked like connections were saving him for another day. He finished full of running. Klic Boum is very unexposed, very lightly weighted, and could be a handicap blot. Selection: Klic Boum, 4:03 Hereford, 1 point win.

Harry The Haggler ran very well last time when second at Wolverhampton. He hasn’t won in 13 starts now but has an excellent chance here. It looks like a drop in class against these rivals and Rossa Ryan can ride with the confidence he is on the best horse in the race. Selection: Harry The Haggler, 12:25 Southwell, 1 point win.

1 point treble.

Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and an £10 treble.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.

This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
