Our Daily Trio selections for Wednesday 29th January

Dan Skeltons Big Cadillac made it a profitable day for us yesterday by winning at 9/2, and Cherry King was a short head away from getting the job done also. We bank the profit and look towards where the next winner or three is coming from.

Roger Varian has booked Oisin Murphy on Midnights Dream’s return to action in the hope of shedding the maiden tag. The horse is reasonably well thought of and has been backed in previous races without getting the job done. Today’s handicap looks full of horses a lot more exposed than our guy. Selection: Midnights Dream, 1 point win, 7:00 Kempton.

David Simcocks horse Mr Nugget showed his wellbeing when running fourth just four days ago, left with too much to do but shaping with promise. The race favourite Cornish Storm was last seen in a Taunton novice hurdle nearly a year ago. I know who my money is on. Selection: Mr Nugget, 1 point win, 8:00 Kempton.

Joseph O’Brien’s horse Waterford Flow ran fifth on debut at this course but it’s fair to say it received a tender ride. We go up in trip significantly today and I expect to see a lot of progress. The favourite in the race is Mister Adam, a horse who looked okay at the Curragh 3 months ago when 33/1 and nothing was expected but didn’t appear to be above average. It looks to be a match bet with little to recommend the others and my money is on Waterford Flow. Selection: Waterford Flow, 1 point win , 3:17 Dundalk

Have a 1 point treble also.

Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and an £10 treble.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.

This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
