The Daily Trio: 11th March
It’s Cheltenham! Finally here.
The Changing Man looks to have a leading chance in the Ultima, 2:40. His performance last time was brilliant and he has escaped a massive hike in the weights. The current price for around 6/1 it’s great value. Selection: The Changing Man, 2:40 Cheltenham, 1 point win.
State Man is the defending champion yet is about 10/1 here. He has Constitution Hill to beat, but Constitution hasn’t looked like his former self since returning from absence. I have doubts about Brighterdaysahead’s rout last time out as State Man was eased off way before the race really started having given the mare too much rope. State Man is overpriced. Selection: State Man, 3:30 Cheltenham, 1 point win,
Rebecca Curtis has a fantastic chance of a Cheltenham winner as Hauti Coleurs goes in the last. The horse looks all over a stayer and conditions should suit. I can’t see where the challenge will come from looking through the field. Selection: Hauti Coleurs, 5:30 Cheltenham, 1 point win.
Also have a 1 point treble.
