The Daily Trio: 12th March

I’m looking forward to today with some strong fancies. What a day it was yesterday with Constitution Hill and State Man both falling. I was devastated having backed (heavily) and tipped State Man at 10/1. Fingers crossed for three winners today to make up for it.

The first winner I’m hoping is Dan Skelton’s The New Lion. This looks a serious horse and I fancy him to beat Final Demand, who looks less of a speedy horse than our selection. The price of about 9/4 looks attractive. Selection: The New Lion, 1:20 Cheltenham, 1 point win.

The second, hopefully, is Gavin Cromwell’s Stumptown. He looks made for the cross county course and has already shown great aptitude. The worry is the weight, but he looks the best horse to me. Selection: Stumptown, 3:20 Cheltenham, 1 point win.

The third if we are lucky is Copacabana for Willie Mullins. His racecourse debut looked fantastic and he appears the best of the Mullins batallion. This is a race Mullins does very well in. Selection: Copacabana, 5:30 Cheltenham, 1 point win.

Also have a 1 point treble.
