🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections
Palladium is a horse that you wouldn’t trust with the mortgage in a one runner race, but he has a great chance today in the 4:10 at Newmarket. He came back from being gelded and looked a different horse, albeit in a weaker race than this one last time at Salisbury. The step up in trip today should suit, and his main rival Live Your Dream returns from a long absence and is priced as favourite simply because of Oisin Murphy’s good record when sat on Saeed Bin Suroor’s horses.
Chasing Fire is better known as a chaser than a hurdler, but goes over hurdles and steps up in trip today in the 4:18 at Perth. His running style – held up to pounce late – could be perfectly suited to today’s challenge. The Real Whacker is undoubtedly the class horse in the race, but I think it’s literally a warm up run for him here and wouldn’t back him to be 100% fit.
Royal Army goes in the 5:00 at Newcastle for Godolphin, under Ray Dawson. The jockey booking suggests he isn’t one of the stables leading lights and his debut 6th back in 2023 confirms he probably isn’t, plus he hasn’t been seen on a racetrack since. The negatives pile up further as we move to the fact that he is up against a heavy odds on favourite in Mukhtalif for William Haggas (4/11 at the time of writing). Doesn’t sound good does it! The angle I have for Royal Army is that I don’t think Mukhtalif is a reliable horse for win purposes, with a third and two seconds before being gelded, and I expect Royal Army to improve stepping up in trip. The price is enough to tempt me to back him to down the favourite.

Daily Trio Strategy
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot
It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.
Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?
- ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
- Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
- Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.
Suggested staking example
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
