🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections
Katira Du Mestival is an outsider in the 2:35 at Southwell but has a better chance than the market suggests. She isn’t a certainty by any means, but does have upside as she progresses through her career. Tigers Moon is the horse to beat, but he doesn’t deserve to be odds-on in the race.
Nab Wood was last seen running fifth in the Betfair Stayers hurdle at Haydock, a race that is 100 times better than this one today. He might be eight years old but doesn’t have too much mileage and this is his level. Letos is the favourite for Danny Mullins but the race he won last time at Navan wasn’t great so I’m keen to take him on.
Bryan Hughes has had a period where he wasn’t showing the talents that took him to champion jockey standard a few years ago, but he has found a few winners recently and Carlisle is a happy hunting ground. He rides Shadow Chaser for Sandy Thomson today, a horse that improved for a move away from Stuart Coltherd to show much better form on his first start for new connections last time when a good second. I think he’ll take all the beating today.
Daily Trio selections:
Katira Du Mestival (2:35), Nab Wood (1:40), Shadow Chaser (12:40)

Daily Trio Strategy
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot
It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.
Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?
- ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
- Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
- Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.
Suggested staking example
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
