🐎 Today’s Daily Trio

Overview: Merry Christmas, and what a fantastic day of racing! I can’t get out of visiting the in-laws, so I’ll be sneakily listening to the action then watching all races on catch up in the evening where I hope to watch my three selections sluice home on the bridle.

The only place to start is the King George, the Christmas highlight of the jumping game. This race revolves completely around Gaelic Warrior. I think there are shades of Kauto Star about this horse and will absolutely be backing him to win today. He has the speed to win grade one races at two miles – Kempton is a speed track – and comfortably has the staying ability to win over the 3 mile trip. He looks every inch a King George horse. Fact to File might not win a race this season as I also fancy Jonbon to step up in trip and win the 2026 Ryanair after Gaelic beats him today. The Jukebox Man just isn’t this level of horse. Neither is Djelo. Jango Baie is short in the betting but I think will fall out the back of the TV. I actually think Banbridge is the main danger.

It’s certainly not easy to spell it on your betting slips, but I expect Slanagaibhgoleir to take all the beating over at Down Royal in the beginners chase. Gordon Elliott’s 7 year old will improve from the experience last time out. The form he has on paper looks useless – P/4P048-P6 – but these Irish horses are often target horses and can find improvement when connections deem it convenient.

Torpille Dagrostis should win the last at Limerick and the overnight odds of around 2/1 seem very fair. Her experience should count for a lot in a very winnable race.

Daily Trio selections:
Torpille Dagrostis (3:30 Limerick), Gaelic Warrior (2:30 Kempton), Slanagaibhgoleir (1:23 Down Royal).

Daily Trio Strategy

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:

1 winner = roughly money back
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot

It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.

Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?

  • ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
  • Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
  • Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.
£
Suggested staking example
Many followers bet 3 × £8 singles and a £6 treble
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
