Monday 23rd February 2026 | Daily Horse Racing Tips – The Daily Trio

🐎 Today’s Daily Trio

Overview: We are due a few winners after a blank weekend, so I’d best get on with the job and select some good ones.

🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections

Chris Gordon sends Minella Kaiser to Plumpton in the search of a win. This horse reverts back to hurdling after a chase run at this course a few weeks ago when a good second. It looks a great opportunity.

Calling a Star was seen in some valuable races last season and returns for Richard Hughes in the 5:00 at Wolverhampton. He should take a lot of beating back in maiden company, and the presence of Tom Clovers’s Lady Antipova means we will get a nice price on our selection. .

City Queen is a typically well bred Godolphin horse who ran play on debut when fifth and can leave that well behind now she steps up in trip. This race looks hers to lose assuming even a repeat of her debut form.

Daily Trio selections:
Minella Kaiser – 3:45 Plumpton, Calling a Star – 5:00 Wolverhampton, City Queen – 5:30 Wolverhampton .

Daily Trio Strategy

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:

1 winner = roughly money back
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot

It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.

Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?

  • ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
  • Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
  • Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.
£
Suggested staking example
Many followers bet 3 × £8 singles and a £6 treble
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
? Daily Trio FAQ
What is the Daily Trio strategy? +
It’s three singles and a treble built around the idea that singles help hold the stake over time, while the treble is the bigger profit “kicker” when all three selections win.
How do I stake the Daily Trio? +
A common example is 3 × singles plus a small treble (e.g. £30 total across the four bets), but you can scale up or down. Always stake within your limits and bet responsibly.
What do I need for “money back”, profit, or a jackpot? +
As a simple guide: 1 winner can be close to covering the day’s stake (depending on prices), 2 winners is typically profit, and 3 winners is the “jackpot” because the treble lands.
Are the Daily Trio selections singles only? +
The Daily Trio is designed to be three singles plus a treble made from the same three selections. That gives you multiple ways to return a profit over time.
Does the Daily Trio guarantee profit? +
No. Betting always involves risk and losing runs can happen. The approach is about structured staking and long-term discipline, not guarantees. Always gamble responsibly.
