🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections
Zertakt should have won last time out. It was clear between the last two fences, the race was won, done and dusted, but the jockey eased down and he was caught. What it showed though is that this horse can absolutely win one of these and connections go for retribution. Our selection gets a stone from the race favourite The Jukebox Kid, but I’d even fancy him at level weights so it’s an extra bonus. Zertakt is a very strong fancy at a generous overnight price.
Reckless Spending takes an early hike in trip today, a change that can see the horse in an entirely different light. This was an expensive horse at 200,000 gns and the run at Ascot last time should see him sharp enough today. He can make a marker for the English trained horses in the Albert Bartlett market.
The evergreen Il Ridoto is due a win now. His form is always before Christmas, but he failed to defend his title in the Paddy Power at this track last time out. He has gone down in the handicap nicely in the last twelve months and seems primed to strike. He will be a lovely double figure price I’d expect for us if he gets the job done.
Daily Trio selections: Zertakt: 12:40 Cheltenham, Reckless Spending: 3:00 Cheltenham, Il Ridoto: 1:50 Cheltenham.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?
Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:
It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.
Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?
- ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
- Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
- Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.
