Saturday 14th February 2026 | Daily Horse Racing Tips – The Daily Trio

🐎 Today’s Daily Trio

Overview: Happy Valentines Day! It’s a cracking day of racing, the best day we have before Cheltenham.

🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections

Manlaga takes on the Nicholls horse Pouquoi Pas Papa at Haydock and I think will have the measure of his rival. Pouquoi has shown ability, but has also shown vulnerability and I don’t believe has anything like the scope for future improvement that Manlaga does. It looks a complete mismatch, and there isn’t much between the two in the betting.

Willie Mullins has the top two in the market for the Red Mills hurdle, in Storm Heart and Kawaboomga. Kawaboomga comes off the back of a long absence and surely is here for fitness not to win. Storm Heart should be odds on following his win at Limerick over Christmas.

Myretown should have won a few races already this season but hasn’t, including falling when looking a certainty. He needs a win here to go up in the handicap and stand a chance of making his future targets.

Daily Trio selections:
Manlaga – 12:55 Haydock, Storm Heart – 1:20 Gowran Park, Myretown – 3:15 Haydock.

Daily Trio Strategy

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:

1 winner = roughly money back
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot

It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.

Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?

  • ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
  • Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
  • Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.

Suggested staking example
Many followers bet 3 × £8 singles and a £6 treble
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
❓ Daily Trio – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Daily Trio betting strategy?

The Daily Trio is a simple system involving three single bets and one treble each day. The aim is to stay competitive through the singles while giving yourself a chance of a larger payout when all three selections win.

How many winners do I need to make a profit?

As a general guide, one winner often returns close to stake, two winners normally produce profit, and three winners can deliver a significant return thanks to the treble.

How is the staking usually structured?

Many followers use three singles plus a treble (for example, £8 singles and a £6 treble). Stakes are flexible and should always match your own budget and responsible betting limits.

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

The system relies on consistency from the singles and long-term value from occasional trebles landing. The combination aims to smooth variance while still allowing for strong upside.

Is the Daily Trio suitable for beginners?

Yes. The structure is simple to follow and easy to understand, making it popular with both new and experienced horse racing bettors.
