🐎 Today’s Daily Trio

Overview: A Saturday of racing lacking any superstars as yards hold back the big guns for the Christmas meetings but we still have three decent horses to go to war with.

Iroko has always been a handicap project purely aimed at the Grand National. That has meant some questionable rides – and yes I’m directly saying he has been a non-trier in many races. Today though he is in a three runner field, where it will be blatantly obvious if they pull the same tactics. He is the class horse in the race, and the tactics of the race should suit. He has Firefox – a steady grade 2 performer, and James Du Berlais – a decent level handicapper, to beat. A fit and trying Iroko wins this no question. The question is simply are they trying.

Honesty Policy can make a splash in the Stayers Hurdle market with victory today. Yes he will be cut himself if he wins, but it will strengthen the claims of Teahupoo, his stablemate, as it will prove – again – that the English in this division are no good. Impose Toi is the latest English trained horse to win a few and be fancied, but I don’t personally think this is a grade 1 level stayer.

Mondo Man was disappointing on the face of things starting out for Gary Moore after costing €520,000, however don’t write him off yet. He came to win the race last time but a few bad jumps cost momentum and improved jumping, coupled with a step into handicap company, can show him in much better light. There is nothing in this race with the potential of Mondo Man, unless the 20/1 shot Joyeuse is resurrected from the dead by this move back to hurdles.

Daily Trio selections:
Iroko 12:40 Ascot), Honesty Policy (2:25 Ascot), Mondo Man (3:35 Ascot)

Daily Trio Strategy

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:

1 winner = roughly money back
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot

It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.

Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?

  • ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
  • Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
  • Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.

Suggested staking example
Many followers bet 3 × £8 singles and a £6 treble
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
