Bucksy Des Epeires has been a bit useless since making a winning return at the start of last season, today though represents a good chance to get back to the winners enclosure. The cheekpieces go on for the first time also.
Olly Murphy sends Pertemps to Southwell. Although yet to win, he has proven himself capable on soft / heavy ground, and steps up in trip which should suit. Sean Bowen takes the ride so he looks the pick of the Murphy stablemates here.
Nicky Henderson hasn’t yet got a win out of Diamonds Galore, but surely is just a matter of time at this low level. Conditions look ideal in handicap company after a few encouraging performances in novice hurdles and James Bowen does the steering.
