Our Daily Trio selections for Sunday 26th January
Stage Star was an 8/1 selection for us yesterday and ran his heart out, conceding weight and only just getting beaten by L’Homme Presse. This week hasn’t been the best results wise but we are still well ahead for January. Let’s close the week out with a few winners shall we.
A Dream To Share stayed in the bumper sphere for what seemed like two years too long, before finally going over hurdles last month. He was disappointing really, finishing fifth at Fairyhouse. Today’s race looks weaker than that one though despite the market fancying two other runners in Kalix Delabarriere and Krak. Kalix Delabarriere has the Willie Mullins factor, which basically means everyone assumes there is load of of improvement just because of who trains him. He was a weak finisher there, which is not a trait I want to see in horses. He might improve, but he will have to. Krak was third on debut and should also improve but it wasn’t a good race and I think he is up against it. A Dream To Share won the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham, showing a great turn of foot there after showing similar speed when winning the Future Stars bumper at Leopardstown prior. A quick list of horses that A Dream To Share has already beaten include Fact To File (twice), Tullyhill, King of Kingsfield, Lecky Watson, Chapeau De Soleil, Betterdaysahead, and Fun Fun Fun. Connections will want to get cracking with a hurdle win sooner rather than later, and if he can beat Fact To File twice he obviously has ability. Selection: A Dream To Share, 1 point win, 3:00 Naas.
American Jukebox hasn’t looked a superstar so far, improving on its debut fourth place when second last time out. His race today looks a two horse match between him and a newcomer from the Willie Mullins yard in Adiemus. Asiemus could be anything, but that’s kind of my angle. If he could be anything then he could be brilliant or he could be absolutely useless. Our selection has the benefit of two previous runs – a massive help in bumpers – and can put that experience to good use. At the time of writing our lad is 11/4 and the Mullins newcomer is 5/4. American Jukebox has looked more of a stayer than a natural two miler, so I expect him to keep close to the tempo and ensure it isn’t a crawl – again using his experience to expose any weakness in Adiemus first time up. We also have a 7lb claimer on board so we have the experience but carry less weight. Selection: American Jukebox, 1 point win 4:05 Naas.
Leading Swoop is a 13 race maiden who often looks a bit laboured in his races before getting a second wind again late on. Not the type to bank on you wouldn’t think but looking through the 2:50 at Fontwell he looks by far the likeliest winner. Leading Swoop ran okay last time, running on strongly to finish second. His last two races have been at this track so he knows his way around Fontwell and seems to be improving. This nine year old won’t get many better chances to open his account and with a clean round of jumping he’ll be winning if within a few lengths of the lead two from home. Selection: Leading Swoop, 1 point win 2:50 Fontwell.
Also have a 1 point treble on the above.
Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and an £10 treble.
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!
Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?
Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.
This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
