Free Daily Tips: 6th February
A few winners yesterday as we tipped up Good To Be Alive (9/1), Benefit Ben (11/2), Enpassant (5/2), Mickie Angel (2/1), Master Breffni (11/8), and Ridin Solo (13/8). Let’s hope for a few more today. The highlight of the week so far has to be tipping up Seahouses who won easily at 33/1.
Doncaster
1:00 Star Vantage. 18 race maiden who has an outstanding chance if turning up just three days after a good second place at Southwell. Much better now stepped up to 3m.
1:35 Intosomethinggood. Has the ability to rout these if on best behaviour. His third place at Cheltenham in a listed bumper makes good reading in this race and his main market rival hasn’t been seen on a racecourse before. He ran out last time and the hood goes on today.
2:10 Beau Quali. Looks an absolute banker if standing up. No more to be said.
2:45 Shanagh Bob. A grade 2 winner at Cheltenham over hurdles. Wasn’t good over fences but is over hurdles here. Steps back in trip which shouldn’t be an inconvenience.
3:20 Kelce. Good winner at Market Rasen but a faller last time.
3:55 Realta Liath. Lightly raced maiden who has potential. Handicap hurdle debut and I expect to see better today.
4:30 Getaway Drumlee. Travelled very well at Fontwell and a repeat showing would see him going close.
Huntingdon
12:40 Rocket Rufus. Three boring qualifying runs to get a handicap mark and now goes up in trip on handicap debut.
1:10 Ginger Jonny. Finally goes chasing and comes back off a breathing operation. Expected to improve on the poor form shown to date.
1:45 Califet En Vol. His second to The New Lion looks good now and he remains lightly raced.
2:20 Hauturiere. This horse is the outsider of four and comes off the back of a poor return at Fairyhouse on New Years Day. Will strip fitter for this and the small field will suit.
2:55 Sun Art. Another who has had three underwhelming runs to get a handicap mark and makes a hurdle debut in a realistic race.
3:30 Shesupincourt. Goes up in trip and handicapper has relented a little.
4:05 Soldier Saint. £90k Order of St George gelding. Has a great chance of beating the odds on favourite Fortune De Mer who won last time out but the form hasn’t worked out very well.
4:40 Draco Malfoy. £140k purchase who has had two positive runs. Looks like a stayer so will need a good pace here, but there are a few who will fancy their chances which might work out well.
Ffos Las
1:55 Libre De Choeur. Promising start under rules at Warwick.and should kick on. Excellent chance of winning this.
2:30 Followango. Will be a big price after a disappointing run at this course last time out but has decent form before that. Could pick up the pieces late on if the two fancied horses Sunset Marquesa and Clotilda get into a fight and wear each other out.
3:05 I See The Sea. Was well supported last time but was disappointing. Lightly raced compared to his rivals and can reward his supporters who go in again.
3:40 A Moments Madness. Certainly hasn’t wasted any time in going chasing after a few average displays over hurdles. Fairly weighted and can kick on in this sphere.
4:15 Gardener. A former useful chaser who hasn’t shown much over hurdles until an improved third last time. Will be a big price here but certainly has the ability to play a part.
4:50 Shearer. This horse hasn’t been seen for 601 days but is absolutely thrown in here if there is nothing wrong with him. We are betting on his health more than his ability.
Thurles
1:25 Tullyhill. A banker of all bankers if avoiding mishap.
2:00 Spinning Web. Danny Mullins rides for Margaret Mullins. Handicap chase debut and will be a very nice price.
2:35 Adela Icon. Hurdle debut and has stablemate Runcok to beat.
3:10 Herja. Up in trip and has potential to do much better than she has shown so far.
3:45 Jacob’s Ladder. Won very easily last time and has a 7lb claimer on board. Could have loads in hand.
4:20 Muskerry Rock. Handicap hurdle debut and first time blinkers.
4:55 Kaiser Ball. Yard have a great record in this race and can add to it here. Could be an outside runner in better races than this over the spring.
Southwell
5:00 For Pleasure. Small field will suit and is fit from a hurdle win.
5:30 Biplane. Should win if turning up two days after a win at Newcastle.
6:00 Francis Drake. Belardo newcomer who is related to some nice types. Is out of a half sister to Dewhurst winner Teofilio. Yard well capable of readying one to win first time out.
6:30 Ring Of Gold. Course regular who seems to get going too late. 23 runs since last victory, has dropped in the handicap, and wears a first time visor.
7:00 Sunny Time. In fair form with a win at Lingfield and a third at Chelmsford. Looks most likely to serve it up to Frankie’s Dream.
7:30 Stone Of Destiny. C&D winner 11 runs ago. Not much between the field and the price point is tempting.
8:00 Stella Hogan. Best form in the race. Would have won last time out if not giving the other horse first run.
8:30 Thanks Dad. Frustrating type but there is one of these in him. Visored first time.
Happy punting
