Our Daily Trio selections for Sunday 8th February
Our Saturday selections Dinoblue and Strong Run both did the business for us to make it two winners from three selections on the day but Gala Marceau was disappointing.
We don’t have much to go at today as it’s a pretty quiet Sunday, fingers crossed we have three winners…
I thought Chatshow TV ran well on chase debut the other week at Warwick and he looks nailed on to win a race or two this year, hopefully starting here. The Warren Greatrex horses are just showing signs of coming into form and Jonathan Burke is a solid enough jockey to have up top.
Selection: Chatshow TV: 3:20 Chepstow, 1 point win.
Thedevilscoachman. The trip is fine, the track is fine, the ground is fine, and the horse is fine judging by his run last time out in the Galmoy. He appears to be running back into form. I think the other trainers will have other targets in mind for their runners after today and may not have the horses fully wound up. Noel Meade will be targeting this race to get a win. Selection: Thedevilscoachman, 2:40 Navan, 1 point win.
Copacabana. I’ll be singing the song if he lands the money! This Blue Bresil gelding works better than your average bumper runner and should give Patrick Mullins a good spin around. Looks to have the £100k purchase Returning Officer to beat on paper but Copacabana is one of my bets of the day. Selection: Copacabana, 4:55 Navan, 1 point win.
Don’t forget a 1 point treble on the above,
Happy punting
