Our Daily Trio selections for Tuesday 11th February

We were very unlucky yesterday to only get one winner from our three selections. Walks Like The Man hacked up for us under Harry Cobden to start the day, but Unanswered Prayers who I thought had a massive chance of winning managed to fall at the first fence. Little Soiree then looked the winner for every inch of her race but was chinned on the line – probably the only millimetre of the entire race she wasn’t in front.

Can we get the hat trick today? Let’s see.

Ballyfort looks much the best in the first race at Ayr. It was a good run last time out when second at this course and he steps up in trip to a distance that will suit better today. I think he has a fantastic chance. Selection: Ballyfort, 1:10 Ayr, 1 point win.

Nahy ran his first two races like connections are trying to qualify him for a low handicap mark. He certainly received very gentle handling last time out which made me think it was being saved for another day. Andrew Balding’s horse is more than capable of winning here if Rossa Ryan puts him in a decent race position so the question is ‘are they trying today?’. Selection: Nahy, 4:30 Wolverhampton, 1 point win.

Trainer Stuart Crawford has a 20% strike rate at Ayr in bumpers and has found a winnable race for Oh Janey. It should be a nice price as well for us based on the overnight odds. The excellent multiple grade one winning jockey JJ Slevin takes the ride, Selection: Oh Janey, 4:55 Ayr, 1 point win.

Also have a 1 point treble.

Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and an £10 treble.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.

This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
