Our Daily Trio selections for Thursday 13th February

I like the racing today, and could have chosen seven selections. It makes a change from other days where the racing is that bad that I struggle to make three selections. Let’s see where the profit is coming from….

Karamoja has the potential to be a player in graded races so should be capable of opening her account in the first race at Clonmel. The price is good considering the strong chance I think she has, as Twentyfourcarrot and Reina Del Mar will each have their backers. Selection: Karamoja, 12:35 Clonmel, 1 point win.

Armed And Fabulous interests me at Newcastle. This seven year old sticks to maiden hurdles instead of going handicapping, they obviously feel she has one of these in her. She has been off the track for a long time but could have loads in hand in this race. Green Sky wasn’t deemed good enough for the Joseph O’Brien yard and to me looks a false favourite. Selection: Armed And Fabulous, 1:40 Newcastle, 1 point win.

This next race will throw up graded winners on the grass over the summer. A few of these could go on to be good animals. Magical Treasure isn’t the race favourite here, or even the most fancied from her own yard, but gets my vote on debut. She is a £575,000 Sea The Stars filly with enormous potential. She comes up against stablemate Pearl of Hope who has experience including a second in a Kempton maiden last time but I’d be disappointed if Magical Treasure wasn’t simply a better grade of horse. Praying for Time & Likealot are feared more than Pearl of Hope. Selection: Magical Treasure, 8:00 Chelmsford, 1 point win.

Also have a 1 point treble.

Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and a £10 treble.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.

This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
