Our Daily Trio selections for Saturday 15th February
It’s a busy Saturday to get your teeth into and I had a few strong fancies I had to leave out of the three. These included 1:28 Lavender Hill Mob, 4:25 Famous Clermont, 1:03 Diesel Line, 3:42 What’s Up Darling, 2:50 The Sainted Canary.
The selections that made it:
Blue Lord has been uninspiring this season but has a race like this in him. The longer trip could be the making of this horse at the age of 10 and questions can be asked of the others. Pic D’orhy is trained by Paul Nicholls who is out of form, the trip is too short for L’Homme Presse, Corbetts Cross might not run unless we get some rain and again the trip is too short. Selection: Blue Lord, 3:37 Ascot, 1 point win (14/1)
Who is the most likely to stay the 3m4f trip in the 3:15 was the first question I asked myself. Yeah Man, great question. Where better to look than a horse that won last years race. This eight year old has likely been targeted at a repeat bid. Selection: Yeah Man, 3:15 Haydock, 1 point win (4/1)
Cleatus Poolaw makes his handicap chase debut in the 4:15 and could get a Cheltenham entry with a win here under Danny Gilligan. The horse is top weight but is the best horse in the race and a big price to win this. Selection: Cleatus Poolaw, 4:15 Gowran Park, 1 point win (7/1).
Also have a 1 point treble.
Good luck

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and a £10 treble.
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!
Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?
Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.
This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
