Our Daily Trio selections for Friday 21st February

It’s been a challenging February so far, but this time of year is always difficult for a punter. Three winners though and it’s suddenly a very good month so let’s see if we can hit the jackpot today.

The Blue Room went in my tracker when second in an Aintree bumper on debut over Christmas. Looking at the 5:05 race before it was priced up I expected to see even money for this horse, and instead I see 10/3 overnight. He has to be a selection. Selection: The Blue Room, 5:05 Exeter, 1 point win (best odds guaranteed if you can, 10/3 at the time of writing).

The 3:20 at Punchestown is not the strongest mares maiden hurdle and Creadan Glare can go very well on racecourse debut. A Kingston Hill mare, half-sister to the useful chaser Creadan Grae. The race favourite at the time of writing Affinity Rock sets a very low bar and ours wouldn’t have to be a world beater to win on debut. Selection: Creadan Grace, 3:20 Punchestown, 1 point win (best odds guaranteed if you can, 4/1 at the time of writing).

Santo Sospir is an intriguing newcomer in the 5:20 at Punchestown. He is one of two in the race for leading trainer Gordon Elliott. Santo Sospir is a well bred Motivator gelding, and is seemingly the pick of the stable jockeys here. Selection: Santo Sospir, 5:20 Punchestown, 1 point win (best odds guaranteed if you can, 11/4 at the time of writing).

Also have a 1 point treble

Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and a £10 treble.

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.

This is a long term strategy that works – not a get rich quick scheme. Some tipsters claim to have a ‘20/1 banker that can’t lose’ every day, we don’t. This is maintaining a consistent strike rate from our excellent tipster and sticking to an optimised stake system, perfect for having a bet every day without losing a fortune over the year. We also don’t charge – our site is free.
