Free Daily Tips: 25th February

We bagged a good few winners yesterday, let’s see if we can go through the cards today.

Catterick

2:30 Present Fair. Well weighted and tongue strap back on.

3:00 Beat The Edge. Won on his last visit here, and would have won last time out if not for stopping on the run in. Good chance back at this venue.

3:30 Ballyvango. His second to Rubber Ball looks better now than it did at the time and he has Sean Bowen up.

4:00 Not Staying Long. Is seeking a hat trick of course wins and it’s the course form that gives him the nod over fellow last time out winner Classic Maestro.

4:30 From The Ashes. Poor strike rate but shaped well last time when a mid race error stopped his chances. Has every chance in a weak race.

5:00 Bollin Neil. A course and distance winner who has failed to fire this season but is fairly weighted if he can return to form.

Leicester

2:15 Everyonesacritic. Impressive last time but consistency isn’t a strong point. Looks a big danger to the hat trick seeking River Run Free if repeating his last run under a 5lb penalty.

2:45 Nine Nine Nine. A course and distance winner who looks sure to run his race. Will be the outsider of the field here but has a chance.

3:15 Overabottleofred. Likeable chase debut when pulling clear alongside the eventual winner at this track last time out. Should improve and go one better here in a small field.

3:45 Diamond Dice. Positive chase debut in January but was out of the race before it started last time. Should gain compensation here with a win under Jonjo O’Neil Jr.

4:15 Important Notice. A multiple point winner related to Denman that cost £62k making his rules debut at the age of 7 in a hunters chase. Looks much the best in the race.

4:45 Rebel Dawn Rising. A course winner and three time hunter chase winner, including at Cheltenham. Returns after a long absence but should have the class edge and has proven he is a battler when he needs to be.

Wolverhampton

4:55 Al Baahy. Has been knocking on the door without winning lately but this race looks winnable.

5.30 City Escape. A three time course and distance winner who is looking for his first win of the season. Placed at this track both starts in 2025.

6:00 Granary Queen. A six time winner who should improve from a comeback run two weeks ago. Looks to face the biggest challenge from Arts Of War but that horse hasn’t run in 419 days so ours should have the fitness advantage.

6:30. Mayday Mayday. Promising start to her career when shaping well at this track on debut, looks sure to improve with the experience under her belt and faces a few rivals who have questions to answer.

7:00 Thismydream. Better form over 5f but tried 6f again after being placed here last time. The trainer evidently thinks there is more to come over this distance.

7:30 Night Arc. Has dropped 16lb since making stable debut and drops down into class 6 company. Was making late headway last time out under hands and heels riding and Rossa Ryan is booked. Could be a plot job.

8:00 Aiming High. Back up in trip today after a good run last time out, staying on to be third at Chelmsford. Below last winning mark.

8:30 Mavericks Magic. How can I not back this one. Is yet to win a race but has put in a few good runs recently and has both a hood and a tongue tie for the first time.

Happy punting
