Our Daily Trio selections for Sunday 2nd March

Not too many betting fancies today but three stood out. These will be my only bets today.

Lavender Hill Mob is a clear standout in the opener at Huntingdon. If he can’t win this, the one time Cheltenham hope may as well be retired. On form he should be 1/4 on, not around 11/10. I’d expect to see a comfortable victory. Selection: Lavender Hill Mob, 1:40 Huntingdon, 1 point

Thedevilscoachman should also face a penalty kick on all known form, although Meet and Greet is a fair animal on his day. Our selection has the beating of his rivals if all run to form, and Pied Piper is likely to be using this as a prep for other targets upcoming. Selection: Thedevilscoachman, 2:25 Leopardstown, 1 point win.

The biggest priced selection today is Dickens in the 4:27 at Huntingdon. I was on the horse last time out and he was absolutely tanking before falling, he was an absolute certainty and looked well ahead of his mark. He’s priced around 6/1 at the time of writing which I have gobbled up. Selection: Dickens, 4:27 Huntingdon, 1 point win.
