Our Daily Trio selections for Monday 3rd March
Willie Mullins has two in the closing bumper at Leopardstown. The favourite is Sugar Cookie, a horse who last ran two years ago when making his debut for Nina Walsh. He has since moved to Willie’s obviously, and blatantly has had issues. Patrick Mullins rides Sugar Cookie. The Mullins second string is Hello Jean who is the mount of Jody Townend. This Flemensfirth mare looks to have more scope and can beat the better fancied stablemate at a nice price. Selection: Hello Jean, 4:20 Leopardstown, 1 point win.
Flash Du Pistolet has been consistent without winning. This now seven year old does go well at this course, finishing third last time out. Today’s rivals look easier opposition and the stable form of Stuart Coltherd has improved since Flash’s last run. Selection: Flash Du Pistolet, 3:25 Newcastle, 1 point win.
Our last selection is a massive price, but has the form to be very competitive. Banana hasn’t won in 41 flat runs and is not consistent, always following up a good run with a few poor runs. The likely run of tonight’s race could suit Scott Dixon’s horse who drops to a classified after taking in handicaps. Selection: Banana, 7:30 Wolverhampton, 1 point win.
Also have a 1 point treble on the above.
Happy punting.
