Sunday 3rd August: Horse Racing Tips, The Daily Trio

We landed the treble yesterday! What a result as Al Aasy, Silent Love and Some Pretender all got the job done and we bank some cash.

Today’s racing is quite poor quality, but there is a winner in every race. I wouldn’t stick my mortgage on any horse today with confidence however there are a few I fancy to go close.

Doctor Steinberg has his better fancied stablemate Al Arrivee to beat in the 5:30 at Galway but I think he has a better chance than the market suggests. Doctor Steinberg won by 11 lengths at Ballinrobe last time and that distance could have been much greater, it was comfortable. The form is comparable to Al Arivee who won at Sligo in a similar fashion last time. Notably, Al Arivee made its racecourse debut at Galway in finishing second to a horse called Rock on By. Al Arivee was odds-on that day but was outstayed late on and Rock On By was going further clear the further they went. I’m not convinced that Galway suits today’s favourite and I liked the look of Doctor Steinberg so that’s the way I’m going.

Bobby Bennu goes to post in the 4:52 at Chester. He is a previous course and distance winner who has shown he is in form on his last few runs, finishing a good second at Haydock last time. He has been slowly away on his last three starts which is a concern, but jockey Silvestre De Souza will be alert to that and can get a good position early. The rest are a questionable bunch with little to recommend them.

Emerald Coast will be a nice price in the 2:45 at Chester. The race is for newcomers, and our selection is a nicely bred Sergei Prokofiev filly, a half-sister to 1¼m winner Pawpaw and 9f-11f winner Rollajam and a half-sister to very smart 6f-1m winner Lend A Hand. Emerald Coast is trained locally to Chester by Hugo Palmer whose 2-y-os are going well. The draw has been kind and she has a lovely 5lb weight allowance against the colts.

Our proven winning betting system is 3x singles and a treble.

Most of our regular readers have 3x £8 singles and a £6 treble – total stake £30, but bet to your own stakes.

Good luck!

📚 Daily Trio Strategy

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!

It’s a sustainable and sensible method to get a bet every day whilst retaining that hope of a nice big win. This is entertainment, but a form of entertainment that can pay you back for playing! Where this best betting system works so well is that it’s all about holding our own with the bookies until we hit a day with three winners and nail the treble — then we are quids in.

Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?

Our tipster operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Each year we should see money back at least based on only the single bets, and the profit comes from the trebles — the joy of maths.

Suggested staking example Many followers bet 3 × £8 singles and a £6 treble (total stake £30) — but the choice is yours. We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
