🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections
James Tate has a great chance to make it third time lucky with Dark Angel Star in the 5:40 at Newcastle. Dark Angel Star is a lightly raced Dark Angel filly who looked like she will be winning sooner rather than later based off how well she travelled last time at Beverley. Any improvement should make this filly hard to beat today.
Roger Varian sends Karthala to make his handicap debutant in the 5:04 at Windsor. Karthala has showed potential and looked to me like a step up in trip will suit which he gets today. This son of Pinatubo looks overpriced in today’s race.
Themanintheboots was a two time Perth winner back in 2023 and has done little since. He showed signs of life last time out when second at Sligo in late August and could be running back to form. Top weight today in the 4:44 at Perth shouldn’t be a problem as he is better than this lot when on form and he can give Gordon Elliott a winner in the last.
Daily Trio selections: Dark Angel Star — 5:40 Newcastle, Karthala — 5:04 Windsor, Themanintheboots — 4:44 Perth.

Daily Trio Strategy
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot
It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.
Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?
- ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
- Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
- Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.
Suggested staking example
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
