🐎 Today’s Daily Trio

Overview:Two from three again yesterday for the third day running, frustrating but better than three losers! Today is a low grade Monday and it’s the time of the year where the form book goes out of the window to some degree. Punting daily is hard from mid September until the start of November typically. It’s my job though to find winners, so let’s crack on and see what we can do.

🏇 Trainer insight: Charlie Johnson is the only person – trainer or jockey – to have a level stakes profit at Hamilton this year and sends just one today: Chuti Manica in the 4:43.

🥇 One to Note: Dubawi filly Emilia Casanova makes her racecourse debut at Leicester in the 2:43 for Karl Burke. She is a big price overnight but I’ll be watching closely.

⚠️ Traveller: William Haggas sends Concert 360 miles to be his sole representative at the Hamilton meeting (2:58).

💸 Profit Stat: Sean Bowen has a 40% strike rate at Fontwell this season and has two rides: Lermoos Legend (3:05) and Ivane (4:50). I’d suggest Ivane is the more solid of the two.

🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections

Moving Shadow is a Too Darn Hot colt trained by Karl Burke, and makes his first appearance in the 3:53 at Leicester. This horse is very well related, and I think might have too much speed for the likely short price race favourite Go Rimbaud and the second favourite Ekleem. Both Go Rimbaud and Ekleem look to have more long term scope for their big stables, but both tend to be quite gentle on their horse first time up whereas Karl Burke trains them to win.

Secret Sonata has shaped very well in three qualifying runs and dives straight into a handicap today, the 5:05 at Leicester. This could be a very lenient opening mark. It’s a small field and I expect Calum Hutchinson to press on and kick for home quite early. The question is whether Dream Illusion can make up the ground quickly enough in the last furlong. My guess is no.

Harry Derham runs a hurdling and stable debutant in the famous double green colours of Isaac & Simon Munir in the 3:40 at Fontwell. Stable jockey JJ Slevin is over from Ireland to ride Bouboule, who is race fit having ran second on the all weather recently. This juvenile maiden hurdle won’t take much winning against frankly crap rivals.

Daily Trio selections:
Moving Shadow (3:53 Leicester), Secret Sonata (5:05 Leicester), Bouboule (3:40 Fontwell)

Daily Trio Strategy

What is the Daily Trio strategy?

Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:

1 winner = roughly money back
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot

It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.

Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?

  • ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
  • Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
  • Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.

Suggested staking example
Many followers bet 3 × £8 singles and a £6 treble
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
