🐎 Today’s Daily Trio selections
Crystal Pier goes in the opener at Epsom, 1:45. This son of Palace Pier has had three mixed runs to date, looking quite ordinary. He drops into a nursery handicap today with Rossa Ryan onboard and conditions could suit. We don’t know how good – or not good – this horse is, but he’s up against some very average looking horses and the switch to handicaps can see him in better light today.
Lavender Gold goes in the 2:30 at Ffos Las, a 7f maiden race. This horse has had two runs, stepping forward from his debut seventh to finish third at Windsor. The third place can be upgraded as he wasn’t put in the race with a chance at any point. Astrazar is the race favourite, but I think Lavender Gold can improve past him. It’s a two horse race with the others having no chance, and the winner could be whoever handles the likely heavy ground the best.
The 5:40 at Newcastle is a match up between three horses according to the bookies. Foxtrot Flyer is a newcomer for Karl Burke who we know nothing about. Major Neigh Sayer is a once raced horse who has obviously had problems with four months between debut and this second run. Augustus Gloop has ran twice, and looked a sure fire future winner when closing all the way to the line last time to finish second at Lingfield. I prefer the known entity that is Augustus Gloop here as we know he is healthy and fit, so he sets the standard the others have to improve past.
Daily Trio selections:
Crystal Pier (1:45), Lavender Gold (2:30), Augustus Gloop (5:40).

Daily Trio Strategy
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
Our proven betting system is three singles and a treble. As a simple guide:
2 winners = profit
3 winners = jackpot
It’s a sustainable way to have a bet every day while keeping the chance of a nice win alive. The key is holding our own with the bookies until we land the day where all three go in—and the treble lands.
Why & how does the Daily Trio strategy work?
- ~33% strike rate across the year (~1 in 3 winners).
- Singles are designed to hold stake over time.
- Profit kicker comes from the treble — that’s the maths working for us.
Suggested staking example
(total stake £30) — but the choice is yours.
We use the £30 stake for profit/loss calculations. Bet responsibly.
