Our Daily Trio selections for Tuesday 21st January.
We are off to Down Royal for today’s first selection which comes from the Henry De Bromhead yard and is ridden by Rachel Blackmore. Zurich showed promise on his first attempt over fences after being off the track a year. This ex French horse should improve for the run and is up against horses with less potential moving forward than our selection. Expect Blackmore to ride this one close to the pace and a good round of jumping should see him heavily involved in the finish. The Big Doyen can chase us home. Selection: Zurich, 2:42 Down Royal, 1 point win.
Read to Return also looks like being an above average chaser, although not with as much upside as Zurich. He returns for fences today after taking in a handicap hurdle last time out. Our horse won over fences on his first attempt at Killarney and although he is winless since he has a good 5lb claimer aboard today in a pretty weak race. The 3 mile trip and ground look fine, and he can get the better of last time out winner Whateys Quest who is up 11lb for his win. Selection: Read to Return, 3:47 Down Royal, 1 point win.
My last selection is a bit left field, as he hasn’t won a race in his last 49 runs. He isn’t exactly thrown in here with that record but looking at the makeup of the race I think he can make it 50th time lucky. Asadjumeirah has the tongue strap back on today and ran on nicely last time out at Southwell, never nearer than at the finish. He is up against inconsistent types and has joint bottom weight in the field. Selection: Asadjumeirah, 4:40 Newcastle, 1 point win. (Won at 8/1)
Also have a 1 point treble on the above.
Happy punting

Points? How do I bet? Simply think of a point as your preferred unit stake. If you want to bet in £10s then you would have 3x £10 wins and an £10 treble.
What is the Daily Trio strategy?
The proven betting system and recommended bet is three singles and a treble. As a rough rule of thumb: one winner = money back, two winners = double your money, three winners = jackpot!
Why does the Daily Trio strategy work?
Mav operates at roughly a 33% strike rate for winners over the year, so around one in three selections win. Assuming each winner is 3/1 on average (some are much higher) then each year we should see money back at least based on purely the single bets alone, and the profit comes from the trebles.
