Answered from today’s stored results, UK & Ireland, with the count and the time behind every figure.
- How many of today's races have a result?
- 2 of the 30 GB and Irish races on today's card have a result so far; the latest stored at 13:42 UK time (the 1:25 at Curragh (IRE)). As at 13:43 UK time.
- How are the favourites doing today?
- Outright favourites — a single horse at the shortest starting price; a joint favourite is not counted — have won 1 of the 2 races they ran in so far today. Across our archive they have won 34.2% — 96,834 of 283,117, as at 3 October 2026. A small sample moves a lot through the afternoon; the day in numbers on the results page settles it once the card is run. As at 13:43 UK time.
- How quickly does a result appear here?
- As soon as the official result is published — usually 10 to 20 minutes after the off (we measured a median of about 17 minutes from off time to stored, over 68 UK and Irish results on 26 September 2026). KTB checks every minute and stores within seconds of publication; the wait is the official timing, not ours.
- What do SP and the tote returns mean?
- SP is the starting price — the odds a horse returned at the off, shown beside each finisher. The tote returns, where published, are the pool dividends (win, place, exacta and so on) to a £1 stake, as declared by the Tote; they can differ from bookmaker prices.
- Where are yesterday's results, and earlier days?
- Every day since January 2005 has its own page in the results archive, with each race's full result, starting prices and the runners' records — yesterday's is one click below. Yesterday’s results →
