Free Bets On attheraces.com Restricted Maiden Stakes (Bands C And D) (GBB Race)
Relentless Hero made all to win the 1m2f maiden at Lingfield on soft ground, beating Celestial Cen by half a length at 11/4. The winner set the pace from the front, was pushed along approaching the 2f marker, edged left under pressure inside the final two furlongs and kept on to hold off the runner-up. Celestial Cen was slowly away, raced in midfield for much of the contest, was asked to improve over 2f out and moved into second inside the final furlong, staying on strongly without quite getting there. Probation finished third.
